Certification Management Committee (CMC) decisions

Update on version 1.4 of the standard

There will be no standard update in January. All changes in the certification program will be applied through other means when applicable, for example see below on EUDR and SD/SI. For more information contact James Lael-Allotey.

Increase in royalties

Internal information only, please do not share with accounts An email is going out on 12/12 related to an average increase of 17.5% to our royalty fees, except for those crops that have seen increases in the recent past. For more information reach out to Thierry Touchais.

EUDR update

On the standard side: The requirements needed to meet EUDR will be published as a policy.
On the development side: The option for farm CHs to self-select requirements will be available from 15 January onwards.

Key updates

Claims downtime in December

The new Claims platform will be live on 18 December 2023 

• All approved requests and their associated output products within their validity period will be migrated from Marketplace 2.0 to the new Claims platform (submitted from RA2020 account) 
• There is a stop on new approval request submission in Marketplace 2.0 from 30 November and until 18 December to prepare for the migration to the new platform
