When are we launching new RACP?

The development and migration to the new RACP platform are actively underway. Our teams are currently focused on final adjustments and thorough testing to ensure the platform delivers the expected benefits and performs reliably.

To support this goal, we’ve made the decision to adjust the originally planned August 1st launch date. This will provide the necessary time to refine the platform and ensure a stable, phased rollout.

We expect to communicate the revised launch date internally soon. For now, we should focus on the changes coming in August.

How are we communicating these updates to CHs?

An email will be sent to CHs on July 1st. It will focus on the Phased Implementation Policy and clarify which Assurance documents will be binding as of October 1st.This message will emphasize that our certification process is staying mostly the same, as the current versions of the Certification and Auditing Rules will stay in place.

We are also announcing the use of the new data tool and reminding CHs about the available training on indicator data.

What can I tell CHs about the rules that will not be binding in October?

After July 1st, you can inform Certificate Holders that the new Certification and Auditing rules will be introduced at a later stage. For now, the Phased Implementation Policy will be in effect. We will notify them in due course when all Assurance documents for SAS V1.4 become applicable.

What happens with the Simplification Policy?

The Simplification Policy is no longer binding as of October 1st. After that date CHs should refer to the Phased Implementation Policy.

What should I tell CHs or CBs who are aware of the new platform launching in August?

Further changes to the RACP will be communicated. The benefits previously announced as part of the platform rollout are expected to be delivered in due course. In the meantime, CHs should focus on the changes scheduled for August.

Does this affect the migration scenarios?

No, the guidance provided in the article Implementing Version 1.4 - What You Need to Know Now remains the same.

  • CHs will gain access in August to the updated RACP that supports SAS v1.4.

  • CS SCA will also begin receiving new SCRA levels from August.

  • The RACP ‘Renew your License’ button in the current version was deactivated in June while we update the platform.

  • October remains the binding date for SAS v1.4 implementation

How should SCA CHs proceed regarding the new SCRA levels?

As mentioned in the Phased Implementation Policy, Verification levels aligned with v1.4 will begin to be issued on August 1st for supply chain CHs preparing for audits after October 1st.

Supply chain CHs will move from 5 to 3 verification levels, with audits occurring every 2 or 3 years based on risk.

If a CH has already received an SCRA level and is scheduled for an audit on or after October 1st, they will need to reconfirm their scope, and a new level will be assigned.

If they haven’t received a level yet, they will follow the normal process and be assigned the new levels starting August 1st.

From August 1st onward, SCRA level assignment will remain a manual process, supported by QoI. The Assurance Design Team is working with QoI to streamline the process based on the new verification levels.
