This Frequently Asked Questions article summarizes the most common questions received during the New RACP webinars delivered by our Customer Success teams, in collaboration with other RA teams, throughout October and November 2025. Please note that the information provided reflects the status as of November 2025. Updates—particularly those related to the migration of certificate holders—are expected during the first quarter of 2026, so some responses may change as the transition progresses.
Platform Access & Migration
1. What is changing with Rainforest Alliance Certification Platform?
To support your transition to our Sustainable Agriculture Standard V1.4, as well as future standards such as our Regenerative Agriculture Standard, on November 3rd, 2025, we launched a new Rainforest Alliance Certification Platform (RACP) and a new portal called MyRA.
About MyRA: Whether you are managing a farm, coordinating a supply chain, or supporting the certification process, your journey with the Rainforest Alliance begins in one central place: the MyRA portal.
MyRA is your entry point for working with the Rainforest Alliance. It brings together all the tools and resources you need to register your organization, manage your information, and navigate the certification process. Through MyRA, you can:
Register and manage your organization
Apply for certification
Submit required data
Track certified volumes
Submit product claims
About the New RACP: Once you are registered in MyRA, you will access the new Rainforest Alliance Certification Platform (RACP)—a system embedded within MyRA. RACP supports the full certification workflow, from your initial application to audit preparation and ongoing compliance.
⚠️ Before You Get Started:
If you have already begun renewing your license in the old RACP, nothing changes for now—you can simply continue and complete that process in the existing platform.
Not all our Certificate Holders (both Farms and Supply Chain Actors) should use the new platforms as of today. It depends on your situation (See question 2: Which system should I use)
2. Which system should I use?
Not all our Certificate Holders (both Farms and Supply Chain Actors) should use the new platforms as of today. It depends on your situation as outlined below:
Certificate Holder with a valid license including with a start date in the future (Active or Granted & Pending Activation) and expired licenses and not In Preparation as of October 10th, 2025, in the old RACP system: These certificate holders have been migrated to MyRA and the new RACP. Starting November 2025, all new processes should be conducted using the new platforms when they are required to renew their certification. These migrated users can log into MyRA using their existing credentials.
Licenses in Pending Status as of October 10th, 2025 in the old RACP: Certificate holders whose licenses were in pending status on October 10th, 2025 in the old RACP platform—those who clicked “Renew Certification” (see image below) before that date— or that were in the middle of the CB license request as of October 10th, 2025 will continue to use the old RACP with full access until their renewal process is complete. Their data will be migrated to the new platform in 2026, and we will notify them when it is time to transition to the new RACP.

3. What should I do once my account has been migrated?
Certificate Holders who were migrated (see Question 2: Which system should I use?) have had their data successfully transferred from the old RACP to the MyRA portal. Once a Certificate Holder—whether a farm or supply chain actor—logs into their MyRA account, they must review and validate that the following information was migrated correctly:
The MyRA Administrator (see Question 4: What are the user roles in the new platforms?) should check that all user roles for other users in their organization were migrated correctly.
Review the General Information, including:
Details
Visiting Address
Billing Contact
Functions
Review the Organization Structure
Review the Sites
Review the Farm Information (for Farm Certificate Holders only)
Once these sections are completed, your Registration Dashboard will show all tiles as Completed, as illustrated in the image below.

Once the Certificate Holder confirms that all sections are completed, they should click on Certification to confirm the Terms and Conditions.
After signing these Terms and Conditions, the Traceability and Claims tiles will become active. See this article for more details
4. What are the user roles in the new platforms?
MyRA Administrator – Full control of organization setup, sites, services, billing details, and structure.
MyRA User – Default role assigned to a user when they are added by their organization's Administrator. This only allows you access to the MyRA dashboard for your organization and your personal profile setup.
Certification Role – This is a core role for any user actively participating in the certification process. It grants access to: The Certification Application Form (CAF), manage certification scope, self-assessment for endorsed SCAs, and audit preparation, Interaction with Certification Body, Submission of indicator data and closure of non-conformities
🚩At least one user must have this Certification role for the organization to begin and manage certification in the Rainforest Alliance Certification Platform (RACP).
Finance – Manages billing contacts, billing address, and payment/contract details.
CFI – Enters farm data, geolocation polygons, and required indicators for certification/EUDR.
Traceability – Records certified product transactions and manages volume reconciliation.
Legal – Reviews and manages certification agreements and legal documents.
Claims – Submits and tracks approvals for use of the Rainforest Alliance seal.
Certification – Manages CAF, scope, self-assessments, audits, and non-conformities.

5. Does the new platform replace the old one?
Not immediately – during the transition period, Rainforest Alliance will operate both platforms in parallel, supporting Certificate Holders and Certification Bodies.
Migrated Certificate Holders (Certificate Holder with a valid license, including those with a start date in the future [Active or Granted & Pending Activation] and expired licenses and not In Preparation as of October 10th, 2025 in the old RACP system): Use the new platform at http://my.ra.org.
Non-Migrated Certificate Holders (Licenses in Pending Status as of October 10th, 2025 in the old RACP): Continue using the old RACP.
New Users and organizations, that have never used our platforms: Register using the new platform at http://my.ra.org.
See question 2: Which system should I use
6. Until when will the old RACP platform be available?
The old RACP will stay available in 2026, and we’ll share the exact date before it’s turned off.
7. Does everyone have to register in MyRA?
For new farms and supply chain actors: If you have never had an account in the Rainforest Alliance Certification Platform, please register directly in the new platform at my.ra.org. You can find the manuals for the new platform here. For guidance on the registration process, please contact customersuccess@ra.org.
For previously RA-certified farms and supply chain organizations and users that had an account in the old RACP: Your credentials will be migrated to the new platform automatically. Please do not create a new account if you already had one in the old RACP, as this may result in duplicate accounts. You should also not create a new organization within your account.
If you created a duplicate user or organization, please reach out to Customer Success so we can deactivate the duplicate.
When you log in to the new RACP, you should see some information from your previous RACP account, such as your organization name, sites, and more. In rare cases, you might not see the migrated information immediately in your new RACP account. This means an error occurred during migration. If that happens, please do not perform any action in the new account and contact our Customer Success team at customersuccess@ra.org.
8. I have an account in the old platform: Do I need to register again on the new platform?
No. Please use your current credentials for the old RACP. See the image below to understand what existing users are supposed to see when they log in with the MyRA Admin role.
You should not create a new organization if you were migrated:

If you have accidentally created a duplicate organization, duplicate account, or notice that your organization’s data is missing, please contact Customer Success at customersuccess@ra.org.
Account & Organization Management
9. My account shows no organization; should I create one?
No. Contact customersuccess@ra.org. Refer to question number 5.
10. Do I keep my admin role after migration?
If you have had the administration role in the old platform, you will have this role in the new platform as well.
Your view will be this in MyRA, and you can check your user role under the organization tab following these instructions:

Please reach out to customersuccess@ra.org if the above screen is not appearing for you even though you are the administrator of the account.
If you do not know who the previous administrator was, or if that person is no longer with your organization, you can request Customer Success to assign a new admin role by contacting customersuccess@ra.org.
If you did not have administrator rights in the old platform, you will not have them in MyRA and therefore will not see the Organization tab. Please consult our MyRA Roles Explained for more information.
11. I accidentally created extra accounts. What should I do?
Please contact customersuccess@ra.org and explain that you created an extra account Please provide concise and clear information, including the new IDs and organization names, so our Customer Success team can assist you. We will help you delete any duplicated organizations or unnecessary users. Please note that once a user is migrated or created, the same email address cannot be used to register another account. Each email must be unique to a single user.
License & Renewal
12. If my license/certificate expires soon, where do I renew?
The renewal process should start 6 months before expiration.
If you started your renewal in the old RACP and your license was Pending by October 10th, 2025, please complete and finalize your process in the old RACP.
If your license was Active as of October 10th, 2025, and you had not started the preparation phase, your account was migrated, and you will begin the process in the new platform in the same timelines as usual.
If you were migrated, your information will appear as read-only in the old platform and will be fully accessible when you log in to MyRA.
If you are unsure, please contact Customer Success via customersuccess@ra.org
13. What will I see if I try to log in to the old RACP as a migrated Certificate Holder who needs to use MyRA and the new RACP?
If you were migrated, your information will appear as read-only in the old platform and will be fully accessible when you log in to MyRA.
14. Which RACP version should I use during my audit process?
If you started your renewal or a new certification process in the old RACP before October 10, 2025 (you were not migrated) you would complete your audit using the old process and supported by the old RACP.
If you need to start a new process after November 2026, you will initiate and complete your corrective action in MyRA and the new RACP.
(See question 2: Which system should I use)
Data & System Features (For Farms)
15. Which platform should I use to submit my indicator data ?
For non-migrated Certificate Holders: Complete indicators in the old RACP. If you had a License in preparation as of October 10th, 2025, you would continue and finalize your process in the old RACP including your Indicator Data submission.
For migrated Certificate Holders: You will see a tab to complete indicators in MyRA during the certification process.
Please note: If your latest license was Active or had any status other than In Preparation/Pending as of October 10th, 2025, your account was migrated to the new platforms.
(See question 2: Which system should I use)
16. How should indicator data be submitted for Farm Groups Certificate Holders?
You should report in an aggregated way by using Rainforest Alliance tools like FieldEntry or FIA. You don't need to use FieldEntry if you are already using our FIA platform.
See the available FieldEntry User Manual For Farm Group Certificate Holders
Please note that using these tools is optional and not a mandatory part of your process. They are available to support your reporting activities. For more information, contact Customer Success.
17. Does GMR apply to individual farms?
The function is available for all types of farms, but that GMR refers to the Group Member Registry binding template available for group farms certificate holders that need to add data about their group members and their farms in this registry to comply with the requirements and to prepare for the audit.
18. For groups, must all member farms' information be entered?
Yes. For migrated Certificate Holders: Please verify that all member farms' information is correct in MyRA. You will still be required to update your data when preparing for your next certification or surveillance audit.
19. Does the new platform sync farm-by-farm data if GMR is uploaded?
20. Can all farm polygons be uploaded together?
21. What should I do if I have a polygon upload error in new RACP?
Please review this section of the new platform manual, and if you have any questions, contact customersuccess@ra.org
Traceability and Claims
22. Will traceability transactions and Claims be done in the new platform MyRA?
We will continue using the current platforms for Traceability (Multitrace) and Claims, and the process remains unchanged. The only difference is how users access these platforms during the transition period. See more information on our new article: Details on the Connection Between MyRA, Traceability, and Claims Platforms
For migrated Certificate Holders:
Once all information in MyRA has been verified and the new RACP Terms and Conditions have been accepted, Traceability and Claims must be accessed through MyRA.
For non-migrated Certificate Holders:
These users will continue accessing Traceability and Claims through the old RACP, as usual.
See Question 2: Which system should I use? to determine whether you were migrated.
Documentation & Guidance
23. Will you provide a summary of checks I need to verify if I was migrated?
Yes, guidance documents will be available in English. In the meantime, see Question 3: What should I do once my account has been migrated?
24. When will the manual be available in other languages?
Translations are in progress. We will communicate once the translated manual is available.
